Short Week!
Hello Parents!
It was wonderful getting to meet with so many of you. I am looking forward to seeing your kiddos again tomorrow! This week in third grade...
Language Arts-
We will be exposed to some big things. Specifically, we will be working with timelines as we learn about how the needs of communities have changed over time. Daniel Boone will better help us understand communities of the past as we read some a few biographies on him.
Math-
Get ready parents and third graders! This week we introduce...MULTIPLICATION! We are beginning to multiply by using repeated addition, arrays, and number lines.
Science-
Mixtures will be the focus of science this week. Be sure to ask your student to identify the mixtures around them. Perhaps you can quiz them on the ingredients that make up some of their favorite mixtures like cheeseburgers and my favorite..PIZZA !
